(More customer reviews)This is an inexpensive and stylish mechanical, analog timer. It looks pretty sturdy, but I'm not going to drop-test it as the knob is plastic even if the case isn't. It's very easy to set, fairly easy to read from 10-25 feet away if you want to keep an eye on the time left while watching TV and waiting for dinner to cook.
My only gripe is the alarm isn't that loud--it almost sounds muffled--and it is way too short. I recommend Oggi double the length of time the alarm sounds and perhaps make it a bit louder too.
