(More customer reviews)We've had one of these stove for two years now and it has been an endless disappointment. We have a small galley kitchen and wanted a good stove at a decent price.
From top to bottom: the brushed stainless steel around the clock display gets stained and marred very easily and never looks clean despite many efforts. The plastic coating over the digital clock got warped from the heat of the stove, leaving it with a wobbly appearance. The burners on the stove, although presumably "sealed", do let junk get into the area underneath the top cover. Worse still is that the ceramic casing around the ignitors cracks sometimes when pots boil over and they get wet. Then they must be replaced at $25 each. We've also had to replace one of the burner caps after it stopped working. The screws that keep the ignitors to the burner caps are prone to rust. The screws that are supposed to hold down the top cover don't do so evenly and so it is unbalanced. The metal racks over the burners are impossible to get clean, have no traction and so pots slide all over the place, and are starting to look like are going to rust.
Worse -- could it be worse -- is that the stove itself doesn't keep its temperature. It tends to run hot although not always. Finally: although I've leveled it several times, cakes always come out slanted. You've gotta turn everything several times to keep an even bake.
It's really the worst stove I've ever had to live with. The 40+ year old stove that we replaced was rusted out and nasty, but kept a perfect temperature and was level.
