(More customer reviews)I don't know how this product works because I have never used it. After I purchased it, I found out that I did not need it. The problem I had with the chimney was fixed without having to change the top. The company would not take it back, in fact they would not even return my correspondence. I did read later that they do not take returns. I wish I would have seen this before I bought it. It does look well made. So my only suggestion is, make sure you need it before you purchase it.
