I purchased a round copper "Daisy" style diffuser plate rather than the one listed here; the company has an alternate (newer?) web address at [...] where you can find an updated list of its copper diffusers (with less expensive prices than listed here). The 8-gauge metal is quite substantial and ensures that it levels out any quirky burners (like I have). It distributes the heat perfectly, as you would expect from copper. Expect the copper to lose its copper *appearance* quickly (it becomes grayish with use), but its functionality remains perfect. I've owned it for about a month now, and I am absolutely delighted with both it and the company that sold it to me. Highly recommended on both counts.
