(More customer reviews)The color of these is a light beige-y ivory with what looks like a smoky purple color for the lines. I thought they were white with black lines, or white and dark gray, which would have fit my kitchen much better, but that's OK. I only wanted these to keep crumbs from falling into my electric burners while they're not in use. They do fit over top of the burners very loosely though, which means they skid around if you bump them, and don't stay centered over the burners. However, they are very worth the price, even though they are thin. Even if they only last me 6 months to a year, replacements are very affordable. I will try to find a different pattern that better fits my kitchen, but in the meantime, these are more than acceptable.

The only demensions I can find for this product make not sense - 9 3/4 x 3/4 x 75? I'd really like to consider them, but with this info.. I don't know... Looks like I'm going to put this little project "on the back burner" for now!

(More customer reviews)These burner covers are very thin and kinda flimsey. But, they are $7.95. I was not expecting a solid, sturdy cover. Just make sure you place them directly on top of the burners so they fit snuggly. What's really nice is they cover the whole burner out to the edges.
I need these to do exactly what they are designed for... protect my other clean burners when I am cooking on one or two. They do just that. Runny instant potatoes boiled over and I manged to grab away the pot off the heat, but not before it ran all over. The burner covers blocked most of the overflow. Not all of it, but enough that my cleanup was a 30 second job with one paper towel, not a 5 minute job with five paper towels.
Plus, I have a white stove, and the white background is as brilliant white as the stove. They look bright and cheery on the stove. I am going to order two more sets of Corelle burner covers that have a nice print with a white ground. A good price for a useful tool on your stove.

(More customer reviews)Do not pay attention to the 9 x 9 x 2 inch product description if you are wanting a deep cover. I tried unsuccessfully with Amazon and the vendor to verify ahead of time the depth of these covers. Amazon didn't know and referred me to the Corelle vendor, which also did not know. I took a chance because most of the time Amazon's dimensions are accurate. While they are 9 inches square, not only are they not 2 inches deep; they are only 7/8 inch deep. These covers should not even be classified as gas burner covers because at that depth they are more suitable for electric ranges. They are also more cheap looking in person than what the picture displays. For $5.63 they are not worth my time to return. Thinking outside the box, I'm going to use them under plants on my patio.

(More customer reviews)These are awesome... I got them to protect my overly curious/fat cats from tromping on an electric burner after I'm done cooking and away from the stove.
You have many choices out there for these... but c'mon... WATERMELON, who doesn't love watermelon?
They also have little handles, you can put cup hooks on the wall and hang em while you're cooking. They make it easier to put back down on the stove.
Be careful to turn on the right burner, my girlfriend fried one of these, Fried watermelon=sad times.

(More customer reviews)I live with a rather large 18 lb. kitty named Henry who likes to sit on the stove covers. We never turn the stove on when burner covers are in place or a cat is sitting anywhere near it, but we often leave the range hood light on. Henry thinks the light is his private sunlamp and the burner covers are much more comfortable than the burner coils. These covers are not only beautiful but they can withstand the weight of Henry the Cat without bending or warping something covers in the past have failed to do, but then these things aren't made for rather large objects to sit on them. I highly recommend these covers. If they can withstand Henry, they should hold up for years to come.

Because they are made of thin metal they bend a little when they push together, rather than laying nice and flat against the stove. Family members keep taking them off of the stove and not putting them back, so it looks like they are just going to end up in drawer anyway.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The color is a "true copper" (many so-called copper colored items are NOT, these ARE copper colored, not antiqued, not brass, not bronze, but copper). The only semi-negative comment is the underneath side should be the outer side--it is a shinier metallic!!
