The oven element on my Sears/Kenmore oven broke and started shooting sparks. I checked [...], and a new part was $[...]. This one was $25 after shipping. Everywhere else online and local was out of stock. So, I took my chances with this one.
It came pretty quickly in the mail and took about 20 minutes to replace. That's a lot faster and cheaper than getting someone to come out and look at it.
If your element breaks, don't worry about the part number. I found that there are about 6 different shapes for all ovens, regardless of brand.
Once the part comes in the mail, all it takes is a socket wrench and twenty minutes. Just google "replace oven element" and make sure you unplug the oven before your replace it; otherwise, you might be in for a nasty shock.

The new element fit into the plug slots but once in place I noticed that it doesn't fit the oven space quite right: it seems to be crooked or bent. I guess the most important thing is that it works, I installed it myself in about 5 minutes, and I didn't have to buy a whole new oven.
