(More customer reviews)This is a a very nice looking bucket with an attractive wooden handle. Plus they throw shovel in to boot.
It was purchased to hold pellets for our stove. It will not hold a 40 pound bag, but enough to stoke the stove for the night if low. Just right for us.
Also, if you had a wood stove it would work well for paper, kindling, starter, matches or when you need to scoop out ashes etc. Being metal with a sturdy handle it is perfect.
I would recommend as it is sturdy and attractive.

(More customer reviews)I purchased fiberglass rods and a 3 inch fiber brush to clean out the flue of my wood pellet stove. Other brush and rod combinations I have purchased just wadded up after going in a short distance so a rigid rod was what I needed. Since the rigid meeco rods were 1/4 inch pipe thread and the 3 inch meeco brush was 1/2-20 thread I went to my local hardware store and purchased a 1/4 inch pipe coupling and a 1/4-20 barrel nut. I welded them together, end-to-end, making an adapter. With this combination, I was able to connect the two dissimilar threads together and clean out the pipe properly without any collapsing of the rods. I was amazed at how much ash I was able to clean out of the flue. My stove is running as it did when it was newly installed. The quality of both the rods and the brush seems quite good.
My only regret is that there was not a pre-made adapter available to connect the 1/4 pipe thread to the 1/4 20 thread. Meeco are you listening?
